Aware of his obvious God given talent, Lubbock native, Darius D. Luckey began singing at a very early age and was soon singing with the adult choir of the Community Baptist Church. Upon graduating from Estacado High School, Darius attended the University of North Texas. A Desert Storm veteran, he served 8 years in the U.S. Army Reserves as a Medical Lab Technician. An employee of AT&T Communications for more than a decade, Darius also serves as the Director for the Visions of Light Gospel Choir of Texas Tech University.
A living example that "A man's gift makes room for him, and brings him before great men." (Prov. 18:16), Darius has shared the stage with such notable gospel artists as Donnie McClurkin, Byron Cage, Chester TD. Baldwin, Joe Pace, Dorinda Clark-Cole, Beverly Crawford, and Richard Smallwood amongst others. A highly sought after soloist, Darius sang during Lubbock's 9/11 Day of Prayer event in 2001 and has traveled extensively sharing the gospel of Christ through song.
As the Praise and Worship Leader of the New Dimensions Tabernacle he says, "My ministry is about hope. It's letting people know that no weapon that is formed against them shall prosper."
